Reader Special *Tuscaloosa, Alabama*

Hello All! So, I have chosen the spotlight Teeny Bites reader and they are from Tuscaloosa, Alabama! While I do have family in that state, I did have to do a little research and I found out a lot of great things!



Tuscaloosa is the fifth biggest city in Alabama and it is located on a river (just like my city!). From the pictures alone it looks a little bit like my town as well lol. Plenty of trees!

As many of you know it's the home of the University of Alabama and (Crimson Tide!) and Bryant Denny Stadium.
-Alabama was the first state in the USofA to declare Christmas a national holiday in 1836.
-Alabama also has the longest state constitution in the world! 
-The first 911 call was made in Alabama on Feb 16, 1968.
-In Scottsboro there's a store called the Unclaimed Baggage Store that buys lost luggage from airlines after all attempts have been made to contact the original owner.

After browsing for a while I noticed a restaurant called Jim N Nicks being mentioned repeatedly so I looked into it and even though I haven't tried it (yet) they get a thumbs up from me. I'm all for southern style BBQ!

      Quick little bit of info for mommies and mommies to be. Lights Out!

Heeyyyyyyyy ^_^ Finally back!! Whew! From being stuck out of town (Keysville, Va Lawwd have mercy) to coming home to no electricity, these last few days have truly been eventful, but I've thought of my readers everyday :) I am blessed to have my power back on here in Lynchburg Va, however, there are those who don't and if you know someone Please Please call or go and check on them especially if they're elderly or have any medical conditions. This heat isn't making things any better.  I gotta tell ya, I panicked at first lol. We, as a society, have become so dependent on electricity that its hard to function without it...A/C, fans, light, refrigerators, ect...and lets not forget CELLPHONES lol I know people who went to charge their phone before they went to get water and food *Puts hands on hips and shakes head*  However, through all this bad there has been alot of good!! Chocolatey Bites

Hello All!! So, its National Chocolate Pudding Day and I'm ready to dive right in! Since its so close to lunch time how about we start off with a few delicious, (and some odd) chocolate treats... CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON I'm speechless...and in love... CHOCOLATE ONIONS ummm...you guys are on your own with this one lol CHOCOLATE COVERED POMEGRANATE I can dig it...they look gorgeous, wouldn't mind serving these at my wedding..hmm.. CHOCOLATE COVERED CHICKEN Neither here nor there... CHOCOLATE COVERED CARROTS these are pretty as well, very fanciful looking... CHOCOLATE COVERED POTATO CHIPS I'd imagine the sweet and salty taste with the crunchy texture would be ahhhmazing CHOCOLATE COVERED RIBS I love chocolate...I love ribs CHOCOLATE COVERED COFFEE BEANS Wouldn't mind having these in my lumchbox for work  Ok enough!
