Deadly Nutmeg
Did you know nutmeg is a hallucinogenic drug? Eating just 0.2 ounces of
it can leave you convulsing and eating 0.3 ounces will lead to
hallucinations. Eating a
whole one will leave you in a state of “nutmeg psychosis” and with the
sense of an impeding doom. There
have been two recorded deaths by nutmeg in history: the first was in
1908 and the second was as recently as 2001.
Inhaling or ingesting nutmeg in high doses can cause marijuanalike high. There is a long list of bad nutmeg high symptoms which include:
Hallucinations
Palpitations
Nausea
Dry mouth
Fever
Abdominal spasms
Convulsions
Dizziness
Vomiting
Dehydration
Body pain
Irritation of the skin
Constipation
Insomnia
Lack of energy and mortor skills
Lack of speaking skills / Social withdraw
