Snowy Day
Hello All!! Yes, I'm back! I am so sorry to have left you all for so long, but the Holiday season had me running everywhere!! From extended hours at the photo studio, to traveling to see family, but I adore the holidays so I can't say I regret the sleepless nights and long work days lol.
So back to business ^_^..at the moment I am snowed in and loving it! I mean, how can you not love an excuse to stay in bed all day, watch movies, eat junk food and sleep? But, sometimes I like to change it up, so here a few things I found floating around the internet that are guaranteed to keep you entertained while you're waiting for the snow to go away.
1. SLEEP!! In this day in age when everything is overpriced, its easy to overwork yourself trying to keep up with expenses. Turn off the lights, put your phone on silent, and rest up!!
2. READ!! There's nothing like a good book. Turn off the TV and pick up those books you have tucked away for "when you get the time".
3. Take A Walk. I think snow is one of the most beautiful natural occurrences. Take a stroll around your neighborhood and enjoy nature.
4. Board Games! I love board games lol and let's be honest: if you're not going to play a board game on a day like this, then you're never going to!
5. Write A Letter. Yes, a good ole paper and envelope thing with the stamp on front. Imagine how surprised and pleased you'd be if you received a note from an old friend or loved one just because ^_^
6. Comfort Food. By now, you all know I love food!! lol, pull up a tasty little recipe and try it out. You've got all kinds of time on your hands and you have to eat eventually so you might as well kill to birds with one stone
7. DIY Project. With prices the way they are crafty, do it yourself projects are super trendy and affordable. Try Pintrest or google a neat project that you can do with things around the house and you'll feel that not only were entertained but constructive on your mini vacation
